Sunset upon the loss

Faction: Atelier

As the day sets upon the day the mafia group took everything, leaving nothing but the big top tent and the battered circus members with their lives. As all make way toward the tent for shelter, a lone figure stands at a distance from all and the tent. Dorian stared off toward the city where he knew those cowards had scuttled away like the roaches they were. Of everyone he had come out rather unscathed, but that was untrue. His dolls were gone. His beloved princesses -not his most precious three, thank the lord- were at the hands of those rotting maggot filled puss bags. And there was not a damn thing he could have done to stop them. With those smug little ants hiding behind their little shields, he could only watch them go. Night fell, but Dorian still remained outside of the tent. No matter what he would not bring himself to share shelter with so many, preferring to make a sort nest on top of the tent, far away from anyone where he could find some peace. 

Just as he was about to scale the tent he felt a small tug behind him. Sensing no danger, he turned to find Nikola standing there with his head down. He was quiet, his small hands shaking as they clutched his long coat. Dorian knew the poor skiddo was doing everything in his power not to cry, but those glistening eyes would fool no one. Removing his long coat, the luxray wrapped Nikola in his thick coat and pulled him to his chest. The boy let out a soft gasp and shook in his coat as silent sobs wracked his tiny form. "Do you wish to sleep in the tent?" the man asked softly without an ounce of sympathy in his voice, for he knew the boy would resent it greatly. Nikola only clutched him tighter, giving his answer. "Very well." was all Dorian said.

Atop the tent, with the last signs of day fading into a deep black, Dorian gazed off toward the city where his dolls were taken, holding the small sleeping form of Nikola close and keeping him warm.

This took so long to do. >_< Sorry if it looks ugly.

Basically Dorian will not be staying inside the tent. Instead he'll be sleeping outside on top the tent. Nikola didn't want everyone to see him break down and sought out Dorian. With only his coat to keep the boy warm, Dorian gives it to him and keeps him close to offer more warmth.
